Maximizing Injectable Drug Treatment Compliance
ICORE Cares is our clinical support program designed to assist patients with managing their specialty therapies and optimizing treatment outcomes. Through this program, ICORE’s clinical team provides knowledgeable and caring support and information to patients and family members. Through ongoing outreach and communication, we are:
- Reaching out to the patient to establish a baseline for monitoring treatment progress and to making sure that he or she:
- Fully understands the potential side-effects of the prescribed medication
- Is able to administer the medication at home
- Understands the importance of treatment adherence
- Determining if additional resources are needed
- Providing important educational information, support group listings and other resources
- Alerting the physician and if an adverse reaction occurs, counseling the patient to discontinue the medication, see their physician, take another product, or, in an extreme case, call 911
